Top 5 Swimming Pools in Marrakech
Summer in Morocco means long sunny days with a side of pool. Here’s our pick of the top 5 places to rest, relax and spend a sun-filled day.
LES DEUX TOURS
The towering – and ancient – trees of La Palmeraie are a must-see and Les Deux Tours is located right in the middle of them. It’s a really peaceful oasis with gorgeous gardens and a picturesque pool. Relax beside it for the day and enjoy a two-course lunch in the restaurant. Alternatively, you can enjoy a picnic lunch of tartines, salads, chilled soups and dessert served in the beautiful gardens.
BELDI COUNTRY CLUB
The Beldi Country Club is set in a beautiful olive grove and loved by Marrakchis who lunch there before snoozing in the shade. There’s also a small complex of shops, a spa and gorgeous gardens. You can easily spend a day here pottering around in between sunshine and swimming.
FARASHA FARMHOUSE
The location of Farasha Farmhouse is traditionally rural, but the styling and hospitality are cutting edge. And their 50-metre pool provides a drop the mic moment. Go for the day to laze on a sunbed (with a Yeti coolbox packed with kombucha, juices and rose delivered poolside) before having lunch on the terrace.
ROYAL MANSOUR
For the ultimate luxury pool day, it’s got to be Royal Mansour. The large swimming pool is surrounded by beautiful gardens and you can either book a lounger and lunch – or opt to privatise your very own poolside pavilion for the day. Lunch and a welcome mocktail are also included.
EL FENN
Pools are hard in short supply in the medina but we’ve got three – and the one on our rooftop has sweeping views over the rooftops of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains beyond. All this plus our terrace restaurant and cocktail bar.
