Our Favourite Contemporary Jewellery Makers in Marrakech
Marrakech is home to a remarkable collection of traditional jewellery shops. But if you’re after something more contemporary, here’s our pick of our favourite makers.
Tapati Bijoux
If you love the beach then you will love Tapati. Everything from coral and driftwood fragments to starfish and shells are used to create their one-off pieces. It’s as if you’ve taken the chicest walk along the shoreline and metamorphosed it into a statement piece. Gold elements add a touch of luxe. All you need to add is an outfit.

Melle Nancy
A trip to a vintage market in Belgium ignited the creative spark that inspired Nancy Pierret to start her accessory line. Entirely self-taught, she uses pieces of vintage crockery from the likes of Villeroy and Boche to create stunning necklaces. She’s since also repurposed fragments of El Fenn’s own pottery in her work. It’s unique and we love it.

La Maison de Luxe
Jewellery-making goes back several generations in Mohamed Nafy’s family. And his shop just around the corner from El Fenn is one of five he now has in Marrakech. It’s a chocolate box of pieces but it’s the statement rings that really catch our eye. Nafy uses precious and semi-precious stones to create rings to be remembered.
Palais Soleiman
This multi-hyphenate owner of Palais Soleiman – one of Marrakech’s most beautiful event destinations – has channelled its colour and opulence into his new jewellery brand. Rainbow semiprecious stones are generously set in these statement cocktail rings that are the perfect way to bring the bling. Whether you’re partying on Mykonos, or donning a little black dress for dinner, they’ll add a flash of glamorous colour.
