Planning an Event In Marrakech

Marrakech is the most unique and magical destination to use as a backdrop to your special event. And if you are looking for the ultimate venue to host your party then look no further. El Fenn was built for parties. Think flickering candlelight, vases stuffed with scented roses and dinner with a view of the Koutoubia Mosque. Or making your wedding vows in one of our beautiful courtyards before sipping champagne on the roof terrace followed by dancing by the pool.

Anything is possible: from a three-day exclusive hire of the whole hotel – to an intimate dinner in our private dining room.

Whatever celebration you’re planning, we’re here to make your dreams a reality and we’ve hosted everyone from families celebrating one of life’s milestones to fashion houses launching their latest lines.



We hire out the entire hotel for a minimum of two nights on selected dates throughout the year. El Fenn provides a unique twist for weddings, parties or corporate events. We’ve got 34 bedrooms and suites and the rest of the hotel is available for your exclusive use – from drinks on the rooftop or a sit down dinner in one of the courtyards, to dancing under the stars or brunch in the sun. We can also arrange some pretty special offsite trips as part of a weekend itinerary. Lunch at a Bedouin camp on the shores of Lake Takerkoust or a picnic in the Atlas Mountains anyone? 



We have three spaces available for a private lunch, dinner or a drinks reception. 

Our stunning private dining room on the ground floor seats up to 20 people. Next to one of our beautiful courtyards and the main swimming pool, it can be hired out for a meeting, lunch or dinner. 

Upstairs on the rooftop, there’s a private terrace that also seats 20 and has the best view in the house. Have lunch or dinner with a backdrop of the stunning Marrakech skyline and Atlas mountains in the distance. 

There’s also a second larger section of the roof terrace that can be privatised. It’s perfect for a seated lunch or dinner for up to 40 people – or cocktails and canapes for up to 60.

Our events co-ordinator Kamar worked in luxury fashion marketing in Paris before moving into event planning. She brings her excellent eye to every event at El Fenn.

I’m someone who loves to party in style,’ she says. ‘And El Fenn is the perfect setting for that. I love turning a dream into reality and seeing the excitement and happiness on people’s faces. They put their trust in me to mark the most important moments of their lives. I always want to make it perfect for them.’



Kamar will be on hand to oversee all the tiny details that will make your event truly personal. From your itinerary, decoration and menus, to DJs and photographers we’ve got you covered. Chef Bob also works with Kamar to create menus ranging from our signature dishes to traditional Moroccan banquets.

Practicalities are of course important and it’s useful to know that getting around Marrakech can be challenging when you’ve got a large group of guests. Unlike many medina properties however, El Fenn has direct roadside access so it’s easy to transport guests off site if you want to explore other parts of town or the wider area. We’re also just a five-minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square and main souks so guests can explore the local area on foot with ease.
