And to help you boost your creative wellbeing in 2026, we’re launching new Curated Stays – personalised itineraries to enable you to deep dive into your particular area of interest. So whether you’re into art and design, food, fashion or interiors, we’ll open up our black book of favourite addresses to create an itinerary just for you.
After chatting with you prior to your arrival, we’ll book everything from art galleries and museum tours, to visits to the ateliers of our favourite makers. We’ll also make sure you’ve got tables at the city’s best restaurants.
Each Curated Stay is available to add to any three nights booked at El Fenn, with a guided tour of the historic Marrakech medina and its makers, plus a chauffeur-driven tour of Sidi Ghanem, Marrakech’s exciting design district – curated to pin-point your unique creative interests. You’ll also enjoy a personalised shopping experience in our boutique, a tour of El Fenn’s art collection, dinner on our roof terrace and reservations at our favourite restaurants.

YOUR SAMPLE ITINERARY
Day 1
Check in to one of our gorgeous rooms, which have earned us mentions everywhere from Architectural Digest to Vogue, before sitting down with our concierge team to run through your personalised itinerary. We’ll have spoken with you prior to your arrival in Marrakech to find out exactly what you’re interested in and this is your chance to run through all the finer details – and make any edits if you’ve had a new idea. The rest of the day is yours so you kick off your time at El Fenn with lunch on the rooftop before a visit to our spa, or just sit and relax with a cup of fresh mint tea and some afternoon pastries while soaking up the sun. Dinner that night can either be at El Fenn or one of the restaurants we’ve selected for you according to the cuisine you’re most interested in.
Day 2
Tap into the rich artisanal traditions of Morocco on a tour of the historic medina. You’ll be shown around the beating heart of the city by one of our expert guides and discover master craftsmen working with everything from leather to metal. You might also have decided to visit our pick of the most inspiring museums and landmarks where you can soak up some design inspiration and learn more about Morocco’s history.
Lunch could be either on El Fenn’s sun-soaked rooftop or at one of the city’s best-dressed lunch spots before heading to our pick of the city’s art galleries. Africa is home to one of the world’s most exciting contemporary art scenes and Marrakech is one of its hubs. We’ll draw up a list of exactly the places you should see according to what you’re interested in – anything from photography and painting, to sculpture and installation.
Or you could decide to do a personal shopping experience in the El Fenn boutique. We work with our favourite creatives to produce one-off pieces that you won’t find elsewhere. Discover the stories of the modern makers fusing traditional techniques with a contemporary aesthetic. Everything – from brass and lacquer occasional furniture to giant painted vases and lamps – is handmade and the rich artisanal traditions of Morocco are fascinating. We can help you with any shipping of items that are too large to fit in your suitcase.
Cocktails and dinner that night will be at one of the restaurants we’ve booked for you.
Day 3
Sidi Ghanem is home to the ateliers of some of the city’s most exciting modern crafts people and designers. You’ll be chauffeur driven around our favourite addresses on this half-day visit to see everything from ceramics and hand woven textiles to rugs or art galleries with personalised appointments to meet the makers.
For instance, we could take you to the ceramics workshop owned by generations of the same family where you can see master potters at work. Or you could drop in to see weavers at work in a high fashion atelier, creating cotton and linen separates beloved by the fashion crowd, shop the best Moroccan rugs at one of the finest modern makers or immerse yourself in the colourful world of contemporary Moroccan artist Hassan Hajjaj who has a shop, food and gallery space in Sidi Ghanem.
The afternoon is yours so you could head back into the medina or do a personal tour of El Fenn’s art collection. We’ll talk you through the highlights of the collection which spans contemporary art from Europe, as well as some of the most significant artists from Morocco and Africa. We’ve got everything from sculpture and photography, to painting and the story behind our art collection spans both the history of El Fenn, as well as Marrakech’s place in the modern African art scene and the rise of the continent in the world art scene.
Then either have dinner on our candle lit rooftop or head off to our choice of restaurant. You could dine anywhere from a traditional riad to a contemporary restaurant where dinner is made with ingredients from a nearby organic farm.

This is an idea of what you could do on one of our Curated Stays but we can tailor them to whatever you’re interested in. Come in spring for instance to see some of the city’s most beautiful gardens as they burst into life, or shop for a new wardrobe created by the city’s exciting young designers who are working with local master craftspeople to create truly one-off pieces.

All our rooms feature our signature blend of traditional Moroccan artisanal decoration meets a mix of vintage and contemporary furniture and art from the El Fenn private collection. Colour-soaked and playful, each one is unique. You’ll also have access to our three swimming pools and gorgeous spa if you want to book some treatments.

The two main activities – guided tour of medina and the Sidi Ghanem tour are 4 hours each. Outside of this, your time is yours, we will of course help you plan it – but it’s really up to you how you chose to spend it.
Our cancellation policy for the curated stays is the same as our standard booking cancellation procedures.
