El Fenn lands at one of London’s most iconic hotels this summer. And we can’t wait to see you there.
Broadwick Soho lies at the heart of one of the capital’s most creative neighbourhoods and its playful, colourful and dramatic interiors mean it’s a perfect fit for us. We’re taking over their rooftop from June 25th to August 31st and bringing a slice of Marrakech magic to London.
Some of our favourite artisans have produced everything from lanterns and textiles, to pottery and candles to give the Broadwick Soho rooftop an El Fenn spin. Plus, there’s limited edition cocktails and food, music, DJs expert in North African beats and a programme of cultural events. Celebrated British Moroccan artist Hassan Hajjaj will also be curating an exhibition with Atay Atelier to spotlight some of Morocco’s most exciting young artistic talent.
Put it all together and you’ll be able to experience El Fenn’s vibe on Broadwick Soho’s rooftop – replacing medina skycapes with one of London’s best views.
It’s the first time we’ve collaborated like this but it felt inevitable because the two hotels speak the same language. Art, community and creativity are the lifeblood of both and we wanted to celebrate the universal themes that unite us.
It’s going to be a summer to remember. Full of colour, creativity and friends. We can’t wait to share it with you.
ABOUT BROADWICK SOHO
Broadwick Soho’s rooftop bar Flute is a masterclass in maximalist glamour complete with animal-print upholstery, mirrored ceilings, palm-front carpet and an onyx-topped central bar. There’s also a DJ booth and stunning rooftop terrace also with panoramic views over the London skyline. It’s the kind of place where you go for one drink and stay long into the night because it’s always buzzing with a fun crowd. We’ll be taking over Flute and giving it an El Fenn spin.
Eating and Drinking
We couldn’t wait to share our favourite Marrakech food spots with the chefs at Broadwick Soho and they returned to London inspired to create a special menu just for the El Fenn residency. This is food designed to be shared with friends, filled with fresh produce, gentle spicing and aromatic flavours. You’ll be able to enjoy light bites such as Moroccan breads and dips, plus salads as well as meat and fish dishes. Whatever you choose, it will be infused with North African flavour. See the sample menu here.
The mixology team at Broadwick Soho have also created new limited-edition cocktails specifically for the event. In homage to Soho’s links to the film industry, Broadwick Soho’s cocktail list for the El Fenn residency is inspired by iconic and evocative films from Morocco. And the spirits and infusions used in them channel classic Moroccan flavours, ranging from citrus and fig to saffron and hibiscus. See the sample cocktail menu here.

THE CULTURAL PROGRAMME
We’ve always platformed artwork that provokes thought and challenges convention. Bringing this ethos to London continues that legacy. Throughout the El Fenn residency, an exhibition curated by Hassan Hajjaj and Atay Atelier will on show spotlighting two contemporary Moroccan artists.
Ismail Zaidy works from his family’s rooftop studio in Marrakech and his photography is defined by a dreamlike minimalism. His compositions often feature textiles and solitary figures, producing quiet, poetic images that evoke both space and memory.
Fatimazohra Serri is also Marrakech-based and her work provides a powerful counterpoint to Ismail’s. Her photography explores femininity, identity and the body within conservative environments, offering a thoughtful and nuanced perspective on contemporary Moroccan life.
Their works will be available for purchase and an iconic piece from Hassan Hajjaj’s private archive will be in place at Broadwick Soho to greet you as you ascend to the rooftop.

GET THE LOOK
We’ve created some very special, limited edition products which sum up our partnership with Broadwick Soho. Some of our favourite artisans have been working on the range which includes headwear, such as bucket hats, baseball caps, bowler and Fez hats, as well as gorgeous tote bags, clutches, a t-shirt and hand-painted coasters.
Colorful and playful, it leans into the vibrant palette that defines both hotels – from El Fenn’s signature red and Broadwick’s soft pink, to colours that tap into Morocco’s landscapes such as rich ochre and earthy olive.
The pieces also feature illustrations created exclusively by illustrator Ros Ingram. Design elements include Broadwick Soho’s elephant motif, and palm trees and a camel to embody the exchange between London and Marrakech. Key landmarks from both places such as Big Ben and the Koutoubia Mosque are also fused in the logo designed for the event.
All the pieces will be available to buy at Broadwick Soho.
