Top 5 Swimming Pools in Marrakech
Summer days are gorgeous in Marrkaech, but you’ll probably need to cool down every now and again. To help you do that, we’ve picked our top 5 swimming pools where you can relax and have lunch.
There’s one in the medina (hmm… wonder which pool that is?), two on the outskirts of town and two in the countryside around Marrakech. Spend your day by one of these before heading back into town for a cocktail – or two – on our rooftop or a wander into the souk for some evening shopping. Enjoy!
EL FENN
We’ve got to be top of this list right? Pools are hard to find in the medina but the one on our roof terrace has sweeping views over the rooftops of Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains beyond. All this plus our terrace restaurant and cocktail bar.
BELDI COUNTRY CLUB
The Beldi pool, surrounded by beautiful olive trees, is loved by visitors but also Marrekchis who lunch before lounging in the shade. There’s also a small complex of shops, spa and beautiful gardens.
PALAIS RONSARD
If you want luxury this Relais & Chateaux will deliver it. Surrounded by pristine white sunbeds, the pool at Palais Ronsard is perfect for a day of relaxing. There’s a bar serving cocktails and light meals.
BERBER LODGE
Hang out poolside with the fashion crowd at this low key – but oh so chic – hotel. Berber Lodge is about half an hour’s drive from Marrakech so you’ll get to see some countryside too. The interiors are Insta heaven and you eat that day’s delicious lunch in the garden.

If it’s a pool with a view you’re after then Bab Ourika’s is hard to beat. It’s set against a backdrop of a stunning valley with the Atlas Mountains rising in the distance. The hotel grows its own produce – in very photogenic gardens – and you can have lunch on the terrace.
DAY PASSES AT EL FENN
If you are not a hotel resident at El Fenn, you can spend a day with us through the summer months. You will have access to the pool all day with a reserved sun lounger. We include our signature lunch and a welcome drink. The cost is 550 dirhams, if you want to include a hammam experience in our beautiful spa, the cost is 850 dirhams. You will need to reserve by emailing us your preferred date and providing your contact details.
