Looking to build the perfect one-of-a-kind wardrobe? Marrakech is filled with independent boutiques where designers are merging traditional textiles and techniques with their own individual spin. With Astrid as your guide, we’ll share our favourite boutiques and take you behind the scenes to discover the wonderful artistry of Moroccan artisans. You’ll also visit a women’s embroidery collective, and we’ll be creating a very special fashion ‘souk’ at El Fenn for a night of styling and shopping. Plus, there’ll be some inspiring culture and visits to some of the city’s most stylish interiors. If you’re looking for a wardrobe full of unique pieces, this four-night retreat is for you.

There’s more to Moroccan cuisine than tagines and this retreat is the chance to deep dive into it all. There will be masterclasses on spices and tablescaping, a visit to an organic saffron farm and a cooking class with local female chefs. Plus, you’ll meet the owner of a groundbreaking permaculture project, discover Moroccan wine, meet the El Fenn mixology team, and do a sunset tour of the medina and Djemaa El Fna’s best street food. You’ll eat here at El Fenn, in one of our favourite restaurants and your host Sam Way will also be cooking up a very special dinner for you. This four-night trip is the foodie dream.

Sophie’s series of retreats last year were a huge hit and now she’s returning to El Fenn to share more of her favourite places and makers with you. Each day will focus on a different theme – from artisans to styling and shopping – and kick off with one of Sophie’s workshops. There’ll also be a masterclass with the El Fenn stylists and visits to our favourite interiors addresses. You’ll be taken on a tour of the medina to meet the artisans and also visit the ateliers of some of the city’s most exciting new design talents. Morocco is dripping with design history and inspiration. You’ll discover it all during this four-night event hosted by acclaimed US interior designer Noz Nozawa. We’ve designed this retreat to allow you to tap straight into the city’s most exciting modern makers, as well as the rich artisanal traditions of Morocco. You’ll explore the souk and meet the artisans working there, discover the modern makers taking Moroccan heritage and interpreting it through a modern design lens, and visit a stunning private home. Plus, you’ll get the chance to discover local culture with a trip to the garden Yves Saint Laurent restored and the museum dedicated to his love affair with Morocco, and the chance to experience a traditional hammam.
