Events at El Fenn
There’s nothing quite like an El Fenn event. And over the years, we’ve hosted everything from weddings to fashion parties here at the hotel. We’ve also got three beautiful spaces that are available for privatisation throughout the year for one-off lunches and dinners.
On the ground floor, our stunning private dining room looks out over our beautiful main swimming pool and can be hired out for a meeting, lunch or dinner seating up to 20.
Upstairs on the rooftop, the Toubkal terrace has the best view in the house and you can privatise it to have lunch or dinner with up to 20 family or friends. Or, if you’d like to host a larger group of up to 40 people, our Pacha terrace is perfect for anything from a birthday dinner to an anniversary lunch.
The beauty of hiring the whole of El Fenn for larger events like weddings is that there are several spaces you can use to backdrop everything from cocktails and brunch to formal dinners. Think flickering candlelight, vases stuffed with scented roses and dinner with a view of the Koutoubia Mosque. Or make your wedding vows under orange trees in one of our beautiful courtyards before sipping champagne on the roof terrace followed by dancing by the pool.
We hire out the entire hotel for a minimum of two nights on selected dates throughout the year for weddings, parties or corporate events. And we can also arrange some pretty special offsite trips as part of a weekend itinerary.
El Fenn’s events co-ordinator Kamar worked in luxury fashion marketing in Paris before moving into event planning and brings her excellent eye to every event we host.
‘I’m someone who loves to party in style and El Fenn is the perfect setting for that,’ she says. ‘I love turning a dream into reality and seeing the excitement and happiness on people’s faces. They put their trust in me to mark the most important moments of their lives – and I always want to make it perfect for them.’
Kamar will be on hand to oversee all the tiny details that will make your event truly personal – from your itinerary, decoration and menus, to DJs and photographers. And of course, our chefs will work with you to create menus ranging from El Fenn signature dishes to traditional Moroccan banquets.
Getting in and out of the medina can be challenging when you’ve got a large group of guests. But unlike many medina properties, El Fenn has direct roadside access so it’s easy to transport people off site if you want to explore other parts of town or the wider area. We’re also just a five-minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square and main souks so your guests can explore the local area on foot.
